Your records. Your choice.

The Fast is operated by Prime Adventure LLC. You can use the fasting timer, local history and widgets without an account. This policy covers the mobile app and thefast.day.

On your device

Your fasting start and end times, original time zones, goals, corrections and preferences are stored on your device. The app shares the information needed to display your timer with its Home Screen widget on the same device. Reminders are scheduled locally. If you resolve a sync conflict, both copies are first saved as a local backup. You can export or delete these backups in Account & sync. Device backups are subject to your operating system and backup settings.

Optional account and sync

If you link an account, we receive an account identifier, your email address and the basic profile information supplied by your sign-in provider, such as your name and profile image URL. Your email may be an Apple private relay address. Authentication uses Google, Apple or an email code. We do not receive your Google or Apple password. Apple authorization tokens are encrypted on our server so we can revoke access when you delete your account.

Linking an account does not by itself upload your fasting records. Choosing Sync records uploads your history, current fast and default duration. Later changes sync when the app can connect. Those records include fasting dates, times, durations, goals, time zones and correction information. They may reveal health-related information about you. You can sign out to stop syncing and keep using the app locally. If you sent feedback anonymously before linking an account, those notes become associated with that account.

Feedback and support

Sending feedback shares the note and category you enter, a submission identifier, platform, app version and build number. A linked account or a limited anonymous account identifies the sender. Fasting records are not attached automatically. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content you send. Please leave out information you do not want us to receive.

Sharing

Share images are generated on your device. You choose the image, its details and where to send it using the system share sheet. The recipient service handles the image under its own policy.

Services we use

Supabase provides authentication and cloud storage in the United States. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Apple and Google process their own sign-in flows. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide website hosting and domain services. These providers may process network information such as IP addresses and operational logs to deliver and protect their services. See Supabase, Resend, Apple, Google, OpenAI and Cloudflare.

Use and retention

We use this information to provide account access, sync the records you request, deliver support and protect the service. The app has no advertising or analytics SDK. We do not sell your information or use your fasting records for advertising.

Cloud records and feedback remain until you delete the associated account or request deletion. Deletion removes the account and its records and feedback from the live database. Provider backups and security logs may remain until their normal retention periods end. Records kept on your device remain until you delete them or remove the app; operating system backups may retain earlier copies.

Your choices

Use Settings → Account & sync → Delete cloud account to delete your linked account. If you sent feedback without an account, use Delete feedback data in Help & feedback to remove its anonymous account and submissions. See deletion instructions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, receive a copy of or delete your personal information, object to processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. Email hi@thefast.day to make a request. We may need to verify that the information belongs to you. International processing is subject to the safeguards offered by our service providers.

Children and updates

The Fast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice when required.
